Now a permanent resident at Indented Head for over 8 years, Renae has always had a love of painting and creativity.

Renae’s background was in sales, marketing and public relations- primarily in the wine and hospitality industry, and she has experience in event management at local, national and international level. Renae has also been engaged in many local community projects.

Renae’s love of painting and creativity has evolved through art and design being two of her preferred subjects at secondary school and then through various art groups during her working life and retirement. Lisa O’Keefe was a great mentor and influence for Renae’s art. Travelling overseas and visiting art galleries is another passion and during her younger years her home was full of Impressionist prints and art books.

Acrylics are Renae’s preferred medium, giving good colour, depth, perspective and sometimes texture to her paintings.

Renae has been delighted to have been involved with several art groups at Queenscliff, Barwon Heads, Springdale and Artisans in Drysdale. She has had success at various art shows on the Bellarine, including Drysdale Rotary Easter Art Show, Queenscliff Neighbourhood House, and Artisans of Drysdale plus numerous commissions.

Renae has been commissioned to paint for family and friends and she enjoys painting local scenes, landscapes and still life.
